Fred Tomaselli- I like his work because he uses items such as pills, flowers, and plants along with magazine cut outs to make these images. A lot of his work is very psychedelic looking and very colorful.
Robert Rauschenberg- I chose this because he does a lot of abstract work and uses a lot of color. His work also commonly involves 3d things which makes it more interesting.
Helen Frankenthaler- I learned about this artist in the class that I TA for. I liked her work because she uses a lot of water color and incorporates large areas of washed out color. Her work is abstract and lets you form your own opinions about what you think she is trying to portray.
