Jordan-Monopoly Jr.

For the final project I have choose to remake Monopoly Jr. with a beach theme. I choose to use the beach for the foundation of this game. I would like the game to have a fun tropical feel to it. Some of my ideas so far have been to brainstorm some ideas of what type of figures to use for the game pieces. I wanted to make them things that people use on the beach or how they get to the beach for example, a bike, a sandal, a surf board, a boat. I plan on making them small but not too small since the game is for kids.

Another idea of mine is I want to create a beach scene of kids playing and having fun on the beach. Possibly have kids running around laughing and playing games and swimming while some are building

sand castles.

For the money I plan on designing it with palm trees and a beach scene. I don't want the design to be to much because its the money and it doesn't need to distract the kids from the game.

The rule sheet I want to be very simple and easy to read. I think I will make it a brochure and have some of the words or more common rules bold so that it is easy for kids to find the rules and read them.

The real estate pieces I think that they are going to be sand castles. I feel like it goes along with the theme well and I believe that kids will like to play with them.
